Has anyone else had the update mess up their previous DAZ Studio?

Yesterday, I installed the update for the DAZ Studio, but after I had installed it and I opened DAZ Studio, I noticed that all of the stuff that I had purchased from Renderosity and then unzipped into DAZ Studio was no longer showing up and I had no way to use any of the stuff. I looked over the area of the whole content several times to be sure that I was not missing it and after checking several times, I didn't see it.
Has anyone else had this problem occur, and if they have how did they fix the problem?

I did not even know that there is an update.
I just looked in DIM but can not find anything.
I hope you can find your content again in DS.
There have been updates to the beta, not the general release version.
Had one yesterday, and one today.
So far, I've not seen any problems.
I have content from 4 stores and it all shows up right where I put it and works just as it always has.
I did notice that scenes are clearing faster for me when I start a "new" one.
I may be an outlier though.
I'm having the exact opposite experience from what a few others have reported in the beta discussion thread.
I updated with zero issues.
All my content from other stores is still in their runtimes.
If you cannot see the content in "smart content", that isn't new. It all requires metadata to work and be seen correctly.
My every attempt to update DAZ Studio through DAZ Central results in failure and an error message telling me that the procedure cannot continue. All I can do, and I've done this at least twice, is use Windows Control Panel to uninstall DAZ Studio and then use DAZ Central to install the new version. That works, and I find all my content is right where it should be. Please note however that I do not use DAZ Central to install content. I always manually install my content. Further, my content folders are external to the DAZ Studio installation so uninstalling the program doesn't have any effect on my content.
Did you have a beta installed previously?
Beta and general release have different preferences (so the beta doesn't risk causing problems to the general release), so if your rendo content is installed in a non-default location you won't have it registered as a content directory for the beta if it's the first time you installed one.
BETAS CANNOT BE INSTALLED WITH DAZ CENTRAL, USE DIM.
The only update I noticed yesterday was for DIM but not DS itself, but I don't mess around with beta's because I value my work over tinkering with new stuff. IMO that's the important aspect here: if you don't want to cope with hiccups and such you should definitely not try to run a beta.
