This site is getting as slow as molasses in January....again.

There are times when I can barely stand being on the site because I have to wait a minute or more for a clicked link to change over. It doesn't seem to follow any pattern either. Can happen in the middle of the day or night. It's FRUSTRATING angry

yep, and not mention the occasional network connection errors.

Yes, forum slowness and network errors have been going on for weeks now. I'm unhappy with it, too.

  • Yeah, I couldn't check out earlier because the site was hanging so bad, so I missed out on a flash sale. Still bummed.

It's been slow and buggy for a while, but it's been getting worse lately.

It's going to be so much better after the changeover.

...taken to writing my posts in Word (where I can also spell check them and benefit from customised dictionaries) and then pasting them in before submitting.  This way if I get a network error I don't lose what I've been typing since the last auto-save when I have to refresh the page.  Quoting posts is an issue though.

  • Yep, it's getting awful. Getting Cloudflare reporting errors at the DAZ server multiple times a day.

    Yup, here as well.

Yeah, there's no way I'm going to jump through hoops to give a company my money. When the site acts up by slowing down, I move on. I've been "moving on" for a month and a half now; it's worked out pretty well. Instead of buying Daz products, I'm using my disposable cash to bulk up my book and movie collection, which I had been neglecting for a while. I don't even bother looking at new products anymore. It's just too annoying to shop here with all the endless problems and slowdowns. Even the gallery is a glitching nightmare.

What's most disturbing is that we hear basically nothing from the DAZ team about the cause or their mitigation efforts.  Just sort of a "Yeah, we suck, but it ain't our fault and we don't wanna look under the rock, there might be snakes and you still come to the store so why should we worry?"

I have given up all hope that there is ever gonna be some meaningful feedback or communication structure, like a lot of companies I love have. It's just not in the DNA of Daz I think.

I do love the interaction of Jack Tomalin or DAZ_Rawb in their respective threads, wish we had more of that.

...I still miss the old bug report site. You could actually track progress of a ticket, sign onto tickets where other people were having the same issue, and actually have something get done.

Now it's submit a ticket, sit back, and wait for Godot.

The only time I submit one is a sales ticket if something didn't work the way I thought it would or was too much af a resource hog, and I ask to return it for a refund.

I am not getting much slowness, but then again, I work for an isp, and my connection is very fast.

The font, however, drives me insane.
