Hi,
I start to use Daz from a month, and even if i've got some good result yet, i have some problem to understand the better solution for dforce. I did not understand if is better use dforce once for both clothing and hair, or if is better use it first for dforce hair and after for dforce clothing, or viceversa. when i use dforce hair, is better do not show them in simulation? Is it good to use simulation preset for the hair? I used preset once and the hair somulation end after an hour. And what, if the characters have also dforce clothing? preset will work?
Another stupid question: when i start simulation, i have to select characters or hair and clothing?
Thank you for you help

Since clothing is more likely to push hair around than vice-versa you would probably simulate the clothing, select it, and turn on Freeze simulation in the paaremerts pane, then simulate the hair.
What preset? If the dForce item comes with a preset then yes, try using it, but there's no generic preset (unless you create some of your own for common situations).
Thank you Richard for the answer. Yes I'm talking about the preset which comes with the assetts. Many dforce hair have them, bat when i use it the somulation often end in an error message...
Same here still figuring it out but slowly getting there. So far best thing is to first Dforce clothing then freeze it in the simulation in parameters (select the clothing piece and go to parameters tab and set freeze in simulation to ON) and then apply the hair, shape it and/or use the preset and simulate again.
As for the presets for Dforce that come with some hairs, it is a matter of trial and error i found out. Just try out every pre pose for the hair to see what works best. I found that some of the pre poses dont really work. Say you want the hair to fall over the right shoulder you choose that pre setting that came with the hair and it's the oposite after simulation. Try them all, Dforce and pre poses that come with hair are anything but set in stone. Sometimes you get the result you want by choosing a completely different pre setting for what you want to achieve
Thank You Gilbran. in the end i see that with a little bit of practice i can get alot of improvement in both clothes and hair.
