Adding a UV map to a Prop in Daz Studio?

Hi, I created a custom prop to use in Daz Studio? I imported it as an OBJ from 3DS max. Now I have created a UV map for it, so I can texture it. Yet how do I load that UV map into my shader? Right now I can only select Default UV's... I cannot point it to my UV set... So I'm stuck with shaders that tile all over my model... Or is there a specific setting I need to set when exporting form 3DS max so it takes the UV map info with it?
Thanks a lot,
Kind regards,
Me

If you've already rigged, textured, or made any other changes to the object within DS, and it would be too much trouble to just import the object anew with the right UV map, you can go to Edit -> Object/Figure -> Geometry -> Load UV Set.
You can also use Edit>Object (or Figure)>Geometry>Update Base Geometry...
It's more efficient, though, to do the UVs before first importing.
Yes, so export your model from Max, if it's not mapped then map it, then import it into DS and work on your texturing. That's the most efficient way of doing it. If the obj is already mapped then just import and work on textures. That's the way most of us do it cause it is the most times efficient.
Thanks for the replies!
