Can G3 shoes fit on a G8 character?

quick question before I make a purchase. I just seen some shoes that are designed for a G3 female model but I would like to purchase them for my G8 female character. Just want to see if thats possible in regard to the system not crashing. Im pretty good at morphing and adjust textures/clothing on a model just need to see if I do this, it won't mess up the whole scene. And I'm using the latest Daz studio. 4.15 I believe. thanks

    Short answer: Yep.

    You are likely to have issues, which are solvable - some of the time.

    The hastle can be so bad, however, that it can be worthwhile taking them into Blender (or wherever) and fixing it.

    ... Also useful is Mesh Grabber.

    okay thanks. will try, just needed to make sure that it would mess up the whole project once I start to render.

    Such a converting is not an easy process for most of G3 shoes especially the high heels since the rigging and posing for G8 are different from G3. Hope you can find some good ways and share with us the tricks. Thanks!
