in Daz Studio Discussion

I brout an Interactive License of Victoria 4 so what dose this mean???? i just want to understand it better? dose this mean i can colour the base to my likeing like make up draw outfits on it i just want to understand so i don't do the wrong thing and get in alot of troubel ...... i'm still super excitted thoe. I love Victoria 4  thank you

    You don't need the interactive license to do any of those things. The interactive license allows you to use the content in a 3D game.

    Ohhh ok thank you for exsplaning Dang it  ohhh well  i should have just asked befor buying lol lol lol silly me ......so i can paint make up on her and her body and is this ok??????? also do you know any tutorials where you can make your own matter's on daz so you can keep them like on Poser????? so you can just load them strait away would love to make my own and sell them if i get good????? thank you for your time :)smiley smileywink

    A Character preset will keep shaping and material settings, assuming you have those in place. A Wearables preset will keep hair, clothing and other parented items. If you want to keep everything then a Scene subset is the way to go, just check the figure and the add-ons you want in the options dialogue and you can merge it into the current scene in future simply by double-clicking it in the library (or right-click the saved file and select Create Cusatom Action to add an entry to the Scripts menu for quick access if it's a character you expect to use often).

    Sorry, I missed the end part. Unless a product is a Merchant resource set then you cannot modifiy it and sell it. We took the question as being about modifying for your own use, which is covered by the basic license.

    Thank you Richard and i did buy a basic license so for personal use it's ok just not selling thank you for exsplaning that ...... so i didn't wast my money thank you again .....
