Did DAZ straight up drop Mimic Live?

I can't find Mimic in the store, and it's not in my plugins list.  DAZ just added mimic files for G3 and G8 not too long ago.  Have they decided to wash their hands of it?

    Looks like.  In my account mimic 3.1 shows as retired inactive product

    I'm afraid that, due to bugs in the product, Daz is not not currently selling Mimic Live. Those who own the product can still access and use it through the Product Library or Install Manager.  Daz hopes to have a replacement in the future.

    Hopefully they partner with Free Nomon for the new solution.

    there is still lipsync in the 32bit

    I recently installed the 4.15 32bit version on my old pc.
     

    The basic lipsync gets a decent base layer result if you are willing to layer on  a more complete facial performance with key framed morphs.

    We have Anilip 2 here at Fitramedia/Animotions.


    while it supports 64 bit DS, We found it needlessly complicated the process 
    and the default audio based Lipsynch that is produced
    with a simple ,clean voice recording, is nowhere near the 
    result you get with the lipsynch basic in 32 bit DS.

     


    There are no auto generated  eye blinks or eye brow /head movement gestures with a default audio import.

    The free 64 bit papagayo script gives similar results to Anilip by default but at least it is free.

    Inactive means not for sale, it doesn't necessarily mean that it won't receive any attention if there are issues or if it can be updated to support a new feature of the content - though I have no idea what was done to it.
