DForce Strand-Based Hair Reference

Is there a quick lookup Reference Guide for DForce SBH, that lists the all of the parameters, their effects, and their interactions with each other?  I am looking for a simple listing, not a video or wordy tutorial.

The PA chevybabe25 listed and explained at least some of the parameters in her thread here: https://www.daz3d.com/forums/discussion/380281/chevybabe-s-dforce-sbh-hair-thread/p1 - I'm not sure if this is enough or is too wordy for you.

The link that MelanieL gave you is the best resource for information on strand based dForce hair that you are likely to find.

That was what I was afraid of and why I am inquiring!!  Thanks for your replies MelanieL and Spacious.  DAZ should really create a quick reference guides for their features in their documentation.

Thanks for your replies MelanieL and Spacious.  I dismissed MelanieL's first reply, because it was to a 4-5 page forum discussion that I have participated in.  I forgot about P1.  It is OK as a starting point, but the parameters do not alwasy work as described.  DAZ should really create a quick reference guides for their features in their documentation - And not just leave their documentation to forum discussions.

Please don't give up on the FIRST well documented tutorial in Daz forum, just save to print those 4-5 page - as they will be handy in the future.  You should try Parmy tutorial

For me, after watching several times the penny finally dropped and at present I have created at least 100s of SBH for my figures (which I want to give away as freebies, but not sure on which site to use etc) ...........at present I am focusing on creating long hair., which is a messy Thaang!

Read those page and view the video and enjoy the SBH journey!yes

I don't mean the video.  I mean the one with pages 4-5 on the DAZ Forum:.

  • Thanks ShadowBox24!!  Too bad the Dynamic Simulation parameters are not covered, but the Appearance parameters are worth knowing.
