What's going on with IM??

I've recently purchased an upgrade of the dForce Companion. Version 2.0. Now when I open Install Manager, it's on the queue for installments. Happens every time as if it won't install. What's wrong here? Should I uninstall the former version first before installing this one?!?

You image is showing that it is installed or is that the one your showing to be uninstalled?

No it's not. Then, why the question mark if it is installed?? This repeats over and over everytime I open IM.

Please see what I'm writing. Everytime I open IM, it asks me to install it again. OK?! Are we clear on that?

Did you uninstall it to get it back to ready to install?

Of course not... if  so, why would I waste your time with that??

No, I'm trying to figure out if it's in both places. Is it showing in both areas or in one location at a time?

You didn't try uninstalling completely and reinstalling, or it didn't help?

Sounds like you are trying to install the plugin while Studio is running. I've had that happen before. Uninstall, close Studio and try again.

Try uninstalling again. Then, make sure you delete it from the manifests folder C:\Users\Public\Documents\DAZ 3D\InstallManager\ManifestFiles, (should be there unless you specified a different location) and then delete the zip file from the Downloads folder, and try again. If you still get it you'll need to submit a ticket. Sorry for the confusion. It's something we've never seen before.

I've install the dForce Helper 2.0 continually. As soon as I open IM it asks me to install once more. Goes on and on and on.

Did you try what I posted above? Did it help or giving you the same?

In the dForce Helper thread this is apparently happening to multiple people.

You were right - I had the program running while I attempted to install the it. That was apperently the case. Thanks to all of you for reaching out and helping.
