UV maps

I'm just back after a long time and really don't know DS because I used poser so please forgive Noob questions.
I am trying to figure out :
Where to find the UV map for the base figures?
Wondering if many use these anymore? I've looked and looked at ton's of Characters and a few resource sets and Only found like one that actually said "contains full UV mapped texture" (and he had more that one product). The other one didn't say that and the skin Looks way better on the character the said it had the fully textured UV map. The others say they contain textures,bump, settings, ect.. but most don't say jpeg, ect.
At any rate, I made some textures in the past (like 3 character packs). I have some older Merchant resources. Most were for V3 but have seamless skin tiles in the packs too. Plus I have a set or two simply w/ seamless tiles. I actually took pictures of my own lips and nails (I've since lost) and used them also.
So again, where are the UV maps? Do I have to Download a UV Mapper and do it that way ? I did this too a long time ago.
Are people Mostly not using real maps and using the settings in Daz to make them?

Templates for the base figures can be found with the starter essentials,
Genesis 8 Starter Essentials;

Thanks ;-)
Most products in the store are fully UVmapped, with only a few using tiling seamless textures or procedurals. You can usually find the texture templates to create new textures with the downloads of the product in your product library.
You won't find any descriptions that actually say fully UVMapped, since that is a given considering they have to be UVMapped to be able to use the textures. You will find though that since you have been gone, materials have become much more detailed, especially with Iray. Usually a model contains these types of textures, diffuse/base, normal map, bump map, translucency, metallicity, specular, etc with settings to bring out the most of these textures.
Thanks again. And actually I think that a lot of textures from way back when were very good. Again, I used poser. But using a few diff Merchant resource sets , (Along w/ a morph magnet thing for poser) Photos of my own lips along w/ bump maps, photoshop brushes and settings I made this Character in 2005. Real life caught up w/ me later and I haven't done much in a very long time.
