How many people have 5000 Daz items listed in their Install Manager?
Anyone with 10,000?
Post the current number of items here.

9176 installed, but probably over 10000 with all the (hidden) Poser files, textures for clothes I don't have, ...
Somewhat over 20,000
WooHoo! Richard, you are awesome! ...and MelanieL kudos to you too!
If i used DIM, 5k, just in the architecture folder.
Looking at my spread sheet of total assets, somewhere around 1 million files.
There's a lot of, legal, DS asset sites out there to get stuff from.
Sharecg, renderosity, cgbytes, vanishingpoint, (the one that shall not be named), and a bunch of others.
Minor side note, some vendors do provide DIM compatible zips.
6286.
1.41TB
19053 products / 24637 files in DIM. Note that DIM lists install files, not products, to count products go to Product Library and do the math (40 products per page last page usually less).
That idea doesn't work real well if you have bundles.
Well a bundle is also a product, and some include extra products which are only in the bundle :) But basically you're right, and counting mine I have a lot more than I expected: 760 (out of 19053 products).
DIM shows almost 8000, not including hidden stuff.
Product Library lists 189 pages.
What I'd rather know from everyone is how many items do you think you've used? Percentage of your library?
Honestly, I'm probably only at 1.25% (due to my lack of free time and obsession with spending).
I've seen metadata uploaded to server around 10,000+. But as Taoz said, we can't count on DIM number. I am not so sure where to look for the number of DAZ products. May be somewhere in DAZ Central. DAZ doesn't want us to know much about frightening information about our purchase.
My job content quite let me freely and infinitely use my imagination. In one scene I may use up to 20 products. So I think I have used over 50% of my library till now. The way I utilize my library is to choose from several choices which match my need each time. For example, if I think of an elephant, there are 5 products about elephant await. I've found that the more options, the bigger power to create what we want.
Hard to tell, I think some 3-5%, maybe more. But I almost always have my render PC running while working on the others, so I can play with it whenever I take a break.
I have 25,178
Over all, i've probably used 100%, at some point.
Don't use a significant portion of things these days, so i'm in the process of a new install to clean up the disaster area.
Probably wind up only installing 60-80% of total assets i've got.
16,453 in DIM; product library is at 384 pages. I've probably loaded 25% to look at and used under 10%.
I'm in the process of doing a complete reinstall to rearrange my libraries and spread them over four 2 TB drives ad I'm hiding products I probably will never use. including generations 1, 2, 4, 6, and 7 characters and a number of 3DL lighting sets and shaders.
I have far more female characters than I'll ever use as a result of early bundles and PC+ deals - to the point that I'm trying to not purchase any more.
And I have enough interior environments - living room, family room, bedroom, kitchen, dining room, bathroom - to stock a condominium the size of the one that collapsed i Florida. This is a direct result of the very low special sale prices here - I've purchased entire lofts for a couple of chairs and shelf trinkets when they were on sale for $0.99 or $1.99.
DIMM 6820 as of today,
now I wonder how much content I actually have all stored up in poser runtimes, and all my stuff from some other great vendor sites. I would think another 6820 minimum.
13,562 installed but 364 ready to and most of the poser ones for the past couple years have been blocked.
product lib says 258 pages.
--- haven't used enough of them ...
this is my backup folder with hopefully all the daz scene saves and all the render saves...
probably still dups but I keep cleaning them out.
49k files but maybe 10k are scene files while the rest are renders from them.
I can't think of my life today without DAZ studio and its items. In my whole life I've never spent more for the other products than this aka "free software". But I never regret a penny. Thank you DAZ team. From this thread alone now I understand why DAZ can pay for vendors to have fun abroad. From now on when I think of a random vendor here, I have to think of a millionaire for sure.
In your DIM log, search for "Remote Products" from the end up. That is probably the most accurate measure of what you have from the DAZ3D store. There will be significantly more packages than products, especially if you have older Poser products, which often have two or more packages per product.
I didn't count but my library folder which contains all my custom sorted libraries and runtimes is close to 4TB and that is using windows compression on everything except the textures folders. I have tons of items from renderosity and their naughty site plus old content I still use from sites no longer around as well as 3dmodel sites I have purchased from and made into daz compatible loads. With all the product I have plus my custom sorting, I keep my library on an 8TB internal data center drive and have TWO external 8TB drives I synch to once a month before putting them back in the closet. I do not want to think of how much sorting I would have to do to get back to "normal."
