Sickle Heels foot posing

I'm trying to change the pose of my sickle heels for genesis. This is what happens when I apply the stilleto pose. What am I doing wrong?

    Double-check that the shoes are conformed to Genesis and not to anything else in the scene?

    Also, make sure you apply the foot pose to Genesis and NOT to the shoes.
