Store Search is sort of a raw experience

I know I have been using Daz only for few weeks, but, I have to confess, the Daz search results are less than ideal.

Here is an example. I search for "Studio Drapes". The actual products (even those with the exact words right there in the title) dont show up till the 4th or 5th row. Sometimes not even on the first page. I keep thinking, discovery of things is still a little tricky on the store. I am sure, as I spend more time, I will learn 'how to work' the store search engine. Still, I wanted to see if I am making a mistake or the store search functionality really that limiting.

Also, the side filters like for Categories (on the left side), never work me. It does not work on the iMac (Safari) or on my windows machine (Firefox). Clicking it simply slides open something and then nothing actually filters. The search page stays as it is.

    Is therea Studio Drapes product? There is a Studio Drapery, and with that as the search term it's the second item listed.

    As of now, focusing on building a 'virtual' contemporary photography experience. So, mostly focusing on indoor real life, current times sort of items.

    However, I have added your store link to my work diary, if I eventually decide branch out to fantasy stuff.

    That was the observation I was making. unless I know the exact word, I wont get to what I am looking for. So, the search is indeed a raw experience then.

    I suppose I will have to simply get used to it.

    A Google search is often more helpful than the Daz store search. For example:

    Yes, I have found that using an external search engine is far easier than the store search. That's what I eventually ended up doing.
