What am I missing? Animated pose doesn't work. (SOLVED)

Hello!  Hoping someone can clue me in.  I'm sure it's something simple.

I have a pair of wings I made, fully rigged/weighted.
Using the transformers (Bend, etc.), I created a wing flap animation with key-frames at 0, 15 and 30 (30 FPS,1 second).  The wings are in the start position at 0 and 30, and in the up position at 15.
The animation looks good when played.
I saved the scene.  If I close and reopen DAZ and load the DUF file, the animation still works fine.

I try to Save As > Pose Preset, select the 0 -30 as frame range, check-all nodes/elements, and Save.  The Pose appears in my Content Library.
However, when I clear the scene, load the Wings figure and apply the Pose, the key-frames appear in the timeline but no flapping occurs when I play it.  They just sit there motionless, frustrating me.
I tried closing and relaunching DAZ, loading the wings and the pose again, but still no animation.

What's the trick?
Thanks for any advise!! :)

  • Were you posing the wings directly, or using some kind of pose control? If it was a pose control, does it still work when set manually?

That was it.  Apparently, the animation in the Pose preset will save and work if I manipulate the objects/nodes directly with the transformers, but not if I use my Pose Controls.
    Thanks!
