Thick blood vessels on characters?

Hello everyone!

I'm new to DAZ, coming from filmmaking/photography and recently took a deep dive into blender.
So I got a view things on my mind I want to create with DAZ for several NFT / 3D Projects but I'm stuck with a problem here.

I want to recreate this type of skin texture on my models, especially I am looking for those thick blood vessels on my models.
Here's an artist who exactly got that type of skin bump/texture on his art.

I already played around with Valentino 8 HD but it doesn't look near those results. Maybe it's a different character or just some settings I miss? Is there any way to crank up the intensity ot the vessels or simulate muscle tension?
Even on the Valentino product page the blood vessels look more intense than on my basic Valentino HD character (exported to blender with some nice light setups).
I know that the artist also uses DAZ (and octane render) but I think those viscular thing is made in DAZ and I can't find anything related in the forum or google which helped so far. So if you know any links or can help me directly here how to get this type of skin/blood vessels showing up on my character it would help me a lot!

Thanks in advance!

Vascularity HD and/or Add Some Veins should get you at least part way there.

Will the HD transfer to blender though.

My "Massive" sets all come with a seperate dial to dial in vascularity  https://www.daz3d.com/massive-morphs-for-genesis-8-male

I highly recommend Auto Muscle Enhancer for Genesis 8 Male(s).  It comes with an AME Veins morph dial.  By enabling the main Auto Muscle Enhancer Body dial by as little as 1%, it unlocks the AME Veins morph to be dialed in at any strength.

You can do this with HD morphs, or you can do this with normal and/or displacement maps. You can also unlock the limits on the morphs and surfaces to go above the default max. Some Daz characters, particularly the Daz Original HD characters, only load the HD morph if you use the HD preset, but no normals. The non HD version will load the normal maps but not the HD morphs. So what you can do is load the non HD version of the character and then locate and dial in their HD morphs. This will effectively double the effects. Plus you can unlock the limits and go even farther if you wish.

You can not edit HD morphs, but you can edit any texture map. So you can edit normal and displacement maps to your taste. However you may need the ability to paint across UV maps for some of these effects.

The advantage to HD morphs is that they are true geometry, the renderer will properly account for them. Normal and displacements are sort of cheats, they will look fine in most images but there may be some lighting setups that expose them as not being real geometry. The other downside is that any clothing or conforming/dforce props will not respect normals and displacement. They will only respect the true mesh. So if you have a really tight shirt on the character and the veins are done with textures, then the veins may pop threw the shirt. But if is a HD morph, the shirt will conform to the veins.

Another neat thing with HD add on morphs is that you can just dial multiple morphs in. If the morphs only add the vein effects, you can use different morphs at the same time to go really wild with it.
