a different dforce related problem

My persons clothes go through the furniture as it settles through the simulation. How can I fix this? Thank you.

  • I would use Mesh Grabber on the seats to add some weight distortions then tweak the clothing to your liking with Mesh Grabber and/or post work. Deformers could get some good results too, but can be complex to use.

It's possible that the furniture doesn't have enough polygons for the simulation to work. Look at them in wireframe view to get an idea of how dense the meshes are. You may need to create primitives in the rough shape of the furniture to give the simulations more polys to work with.

I appreciate the replies. I figured this out.
When rendering the selected item, you have to select all the items in the scene you want it to work with. Including the chair and the floor.I also had to add a DForce Static sirface to the chair cussions and play with the settings to get it 100% where I wanted it.

    Thank you
