Does DazStudio use only 1 thread of CPU at the same time?

I am using Ryzen7 5800X but DazStudio take too long a time to open a scene.

I checked CPU usage by the task manager while opening a scene, It turned out that only 1 thread was used 100% and the others were used almost 0%.

Is this right? How can I make DazStudio to use multi threads?

...yes. when setting up scenes, it uses only one CPU thread I don't believe there is anyway to change that.  It will use all CPU threads only when rendering in 3DL.

Thank you for replay. I will just wait.

... or when rendering in Iray in CPU mode

When rendering in iRay you can in Advanced iRay settings decrease the number of threads used to render. By default, it uses all threads.

...ah forgot about CPU rendering in Iray since I got a Titan-X.  Yeah with Iray thread count is even more important.  I was able to get fairly ambitious 3DL renders to complete in 10 - 30 min using progressive mode on an old 4 core 8 thread 1st generation i7 (without UE).  Not sure what the rendering thread limit for Daz is (in Carrara I believe it's 100).
