Looking for something that could pass for a spool of det cord [solved]

...looked through all the explosive props collections I have as well as others the store here, but none of them includes a spool or loop of "det cord" (detonation cord). Also checked some of the other sites but most only have large wooden or metal spools of cable. Need it for a scene I'm working on.

how close up?
MacLean has some cables that could be modified a bit:
https://www.daz3d.com/everyday-cables
Or this:
https://www.daz3d.com/sewing-basics
Otherwise it would be fairly simple to model.
...my modelling skill is pretty poor. to make even something like that would be a serious challenge.
The spool in the attachment is sort of what i am looking for tough with the loose end showing. I'm surprised that even CG Trader and Turbosquid don't have anything like that.
Detcord also often has pattern on it as well:

https://www.turbosquid.com/3d-models/cable-roll-3d-model-1532133
Would this be of any help?

. . . or this . . .

@ CuuckM ..got an "oops" 404 on the first one and the second wouldn't really work as the spools would be enormous.
@ Charlie judge both of those have large wooden spools so they will not work. The IMAGE that Taoz attached would be far more accurate but again my modelling skill pretty much suck small planetoids..
Use this and re-texture it.

that is because the majority of posters paste links instead of using the link icon
(though you can on Safari iOS)
Or maybe use a "rope" model and scale it down to the size you need?
The wooden look on the first one is plain texture, should be easy to apply a shader instead so it looks like plastic or whatever, and the fittings on top looks like they can be removed with the Geometry Editor.
Here's the solder spool flattened, might work from the right angle so you don't see the cord is flattened. Or you could remove the end of the cord sticking out with the Geometry Editor and attach some other piece of cord/cable.
How about just a stack of torus primitives (or rather one torus primitive and stack of instances of it) sandwiched between two cylinder primitives? Use your favourite posable rope prop (retextured) if you need a loose end sticking out. That would work at a distance at least.
That's a great idea, this way it can be customized in every way you want.
Not a particularly great model, but if you can wait a day or so, I'll fix it up...
The spool isn't mapped but the cord is... that seemed more important... if you want, I can make some sort of label for the spool.
I'm going to be pretty busy tomorrow and probably Friday, so maybe I could Poserize it on Saturday and send it to you somehow.
...McGyver, that is exactly what I was looking for last night before posting about this. Thank you. No need for labels and a couple days will be fine. Don't have a Dropbox account or anything like that but if it can be sent as an email attachment I can PM you with my email addy.
As to using rope, that was one my first considerations (particularly climbing rope which already has a similar pattern) however the .obj models I found were either tied bundles instead of a coil or spool which is more common for detcord.
A smooth posable rope is a useful element in anybody's toolkit, I use the one from here: https://www.daz3d.com/tied-up-2-for-genesis-2
It's OK as a rope, but with scaling and retexturing I've used it to make pipes, straps, even an untied necktie!
That sounds good, you can PM the info whenever you want.
@ chris-2599934 ...I looked at that as well, but it is primarily designed as a "wearable" for the actual Genesis generation it's made for (there is also one for G3 as well). All the other adjustments are for the gallows & noose, not just a length of loose rope.
