Armed Virginia Sloop - Thanks 3djoji!

in The Commons
Just wanted to express my sincere thanks to 3djoji for his excellent sloop model. Purchased it the moment I saw it on the frontpage this morning:

After the recent naval releases (including things like floating concrete fortresses and theme park pirate ships), it's great to see again a realistic ship in the Daz store. Not only with proper sails setup, but with a variety of materials to choose from. Now...how much do I need to pay you to add a corvette/frigate to your list of future projects?

It is a gorgeous model. So much detail, and as far as I can see, completely authentic.
Regards,
Richard
It looks great, the price is good and there are even 3DL textures included ==> in the cart it goes!
it does look fantastic
Thank you All of you for your comment, I hope you get fun with this one. About the futur projects, there are plenty of boats and if I take a look, I see a Frigate "La Renomée" of 1744 (20 guns) and a corvette "L'Amarante" (12 guns).
Great model. It's a sloop so it fits so many themes and factions.
Something to go with or against the Licorne.
Love the sloop, beautiful job! Will buy today as well, although I almost never buy new items. But it's just too good to pass. Thanks from me as well, and please keep up the great work!
Nice render, it definely gives the size ratio between the two ships.
Those are excellent news! I can guarantee safe port for both of them as soon as they're ready to sail.
At the risk of getting greedy...Are you considering by any chance including the lower decks for "La Renomée", even if it's sold as a separate expansion set?
This question is with no answer for the moment but as far as I have the complete schemes of the ship, may be it is a chance to get the lower deck, the captain's cabin and the deck below too.
Now this is a proper kind of pirate's ship. A handy, little sloop rather than the 2-decked heavy frigates and whatnot.
Hopefully there's a market for more historical sailing ships (AND UNIFORMS, to all the clothing makers).
I'll throw my money behind this one as well! (It's the relative lack of ships that makes the genre less interesting to me in 3D... and it's a genre that I like in my fiction/reading time.)
It considerably extends the list of the options to...
Two
Virginia
Licorne
Three and four if you include the Marmara boat and the Felucca.
Much better than one!
BTW, you can swap accessories between the Virginia and the Licorne because they're both in scale.
I completely agree. This is a supurb digital item, certainly the kind of thing I want to gobble up right away.
You havew hit a homerun with this one.
All I can say is, "More Please!!"
I like ships, not pleasure boats, but real ships. If you want to direct your ability and fine eye to doing a SF ship with this kind of detail, you will have a new and devoted large following.
Thank you so much for this.
So sorry to be so stupid, my english is too bad to understand all what it is said : what is a SF ship?
Yes, thanks. It looks great.
Science Fiction, I would guess.
Thank you Richard

Thank you, now the pi...nautical entrepreneurs have something to ... err ... do business with.
Love this sailing ship. Please more.
For sure! I like your picture.
Thanks!
It's not piracy. Polite term is "persvasive nautical wealth redistribution".
