Can not add new aniblocks to character

Hello!
I baked some breathing-animation aniblocks ro a character. Now I wanted to add more aniblocks and add some new ones but the character (g8 male) is not reacting to it.
I can press bake but nothing changes. Also when I just Hover over the aniblocks I don't see a preview on that figure. Nothing is locked!
When I load a new figure, it works.
Can anybody help?

Aniblocks are baked to the Timeline, affecting the selected figure when the timeline is scrubbed. Once baked to the timeline, then one uses the Timeline to make any further adjustments.
Yes, load a new figure to use on the AniMate2 tab for the next animation segment.
When you jump back to aniMate 2 tab, you'll need to click the little icon just right of the character's name in the anuMate 2 tab. This re-enables the aniBlock timeline.
Better still, to add breathing to a character, or to add an animation to a breathing character,
You'll be able to disable certain parts of the body as well as determine how strongly (upper left of the dialog) the track adds to the other tracks.
Great videos and some notes about using aniMate 2
In addition to what I just mentioned, aniMate 2 comes with a Lot more tools for tweaking/enhancing your animations, as you'll see in the video collection.
Things like editing the actual path of motion of certain body parts, like raise/lower the hip while leaving the feet and hands planted to their original paths, etc., parent/unparent items (like picking up and putting down a phone, etc.,), directly placing where the animation begins and which direction it goes, retargeting poses from one figure (or generation of figure) to another... all kinds of things. It's also failry easy stuff to learn once we know how it's done.
I'm not positive, but I think that your breathing animation will still be working with further aniBlocks if you leave the keyframes in the DS timline when you re-enable the aniMate timeline.
I usually like to put together all of my aniBlock stuff, then bake t timeline, then edit from there. But using multiple aniBlocks before doing so can be very powerful.
But I've also used things like hip bend, arm controls, etc., while the aniBlocks are enabled, and they work through the aniBlock. Those videos also show how to enter "Key frame" mode in aniBlock, where we can edit anything we want anywhere in the timeline, then use a button to zero out our changes at our own specified location. Example being lifting a knee up high in the middle of an aniBlock, then zeroing after the beginning and before the end to smooth into and out of the change. Pretty powerful stuff!
