Will Genesis 8 Cross-Figure Resource Kit do what I want?

I see CFRK on sale and here is something in my head ...

I have this guy ... Centaur Maxx for Genesis 8 Male Centaur

It's the only recent centaur version I like, especially down to the tail and fetlocks. But I want to be able to make strong females, too. Or even dwarfs. Would the CFRK help me do that? Or is there another product I need to get?

Mmm.... yes.... I would recommend not using Maxx's morph though.... too much Maxx  and not enough woman shines through.  I would also suggest you read https://www.daz3d.com/forums/discussion/348526/centaur-8-extra-horse-textures-and-other-thoughts/p5  and https://www.daz3d.com/forums/discussion/497356/edit-uv-map-on-centaur

Wait ... you want to make Maxx into a female? Then no, Cross Figure absolutely will not do that. It's meant only for cross-gendering clothing and hair -- conformers -- not characters.

As far as his fibermesh attachments go ... maybe? I don't know if Cross-Figure knows what the centaurs are.

Actually, a better way to operate would be to get the Transgender morphs (https://www.daz3d.com/transgender-shapes-for-genesis-8).  Then do something like the following:

Put Centaur Maxx into the scene. Fully configured with all attachments.

Zero the Maxx shape. Seriously, as Nemesis says, Female Maxx is probably not the way you want to go for a strong female centaur. Basically looks like Maxx with breasts.

Dial in the Transgender female morphs until you have a general female shape that you like.

Then add in whatever sorts of muscle and other morphs you have until you have the sort of shape you want.

You may still need to do some other tinkering, but at least that will get you started.

I should have been more specific.  You can generate a G8M clone as this product shows https://www.daz3d.com/orbital-suit-for-genesis-8-females.  With the product you get another dial in your figure which replicates the shape of a generic G8 opposite of what ever sex your figure is.  In my own experiment, I tried a direct Maxx to female (way too masculine),  August 8.1 plus the Cross figure Morph plus some of the transgender morphs which gave a massive female centaur.... not exactly what I would consider pretty but plausibly female.

Here is a rather generic G8F using the clone and G8M

I'm about to try for myself, but you're probably right that the CFRK won't help with it.

Zero the Maxx shape. Seriously, as Nemesis says, Female Maxx is probably not the way you want to go for a strong female centaur. Basically looks like Maxx with breasts.

Not to mention that the Maxx morph without the Brute looks kind of strange, with an extremely lumpy sternum.

I'm constantly telling users that software never does want you want, only what you tell it. cheeky

Does it have the capability? I'd put in a ticket to Daz telling them what you want to do.

The issue with fitting Centaur Maxx's hair to a G8F centaur is that the hair is fit to the centaur's body, not the figure's, so the CFRK won't be any help. It's possible that using the Transfer Utility can get you there, but I haven't tried that yet, and haven't had great success using it on centaur-related items.

Fortunately, Centaur Maxx's hair fits the centuar body and not Maxx so there is no problem there.
