SOLVED Can morphs for the anatomical elements work with opposite gender character elements

So I tested out the female version of genesis 8 male elements and it was rather sad. Is there a way for the morphs I have for the male version to work on the female version?

The second party morphs that I have for my G8 male gens are pre-loaded onto the DAZ male for demale gens for G8.1l The thing is, given that the difference beween the shapes of the base that they're being grafted to, the odds are that they won't look the same when used. For the hassle involved, that place that starts with render and ends in rotica has a number of male grafts made specifically for the female figure at reasonable prices.
I don't mind my needs in this area are small, but the male elements for female appearing figures could use something extra.
Try copying the morphs from data\DAZ 3D\Genesis 8\??? Genitalia\Morphs to data\DAZ 3D\Genesis 8\Genesis 8 ??? Genitalia For ???\Morphs
Not tried so can't say how well it will work or if it even will. If it doesn't just delete them.
Yes,, the morphs for the male elements should work on the male-for-female elements. As Frinkky said, all you need to do is copy the morphs from one subdirectory to the equivalent subdirectory in the G81 male-for-female directory. I've tested that out a while back, and there weren't any issues.
Thanks, the location of this is rather confusing, why did they move these files directories around like that? Anyway, hopefully, this will work.
uhhh... "phrasing"
:)
Is Catty based on G8.1M or G8.1F? If she is G8.1M, I think I'd go that route. I think the geographs that join to the hip make the AE too different for the morph files to be interchangable although I'm far from an expert of 3D modeled or how it's done for DAZ 3D products.
But this nonsense with duplicating complete morph trees would not have been necessary if the Daz guys would have done their homework:
Same counts for the male version of the G8F anatomical elements.
All the available morphs for G8M anatomical elements would work also with the female version and vice versa. But seems to me, this mess was intended - for making things more complicated as they would have to be. And with the file names of the loader presets "advertice" the new Genesis 8.1 and suggest that these transgender versions will work only with that - well, but that's clearly not the case.
For my personal purposes I have moved the geometry file and adjusted the .DUF loader, everything works like expected, there are NO issues.
I agree. I don't understand the new file structure, especially since they should be with the other gens. It seems to create unneeded redundancy.
