Hi
Not sure what I'm missing but everytime I go to export - accept all the defaut settings and then import the posed figure into Zbrush the figure reverts back to the A pose rather than showing my posed figure.
No doubt (I hope) it's something very simple but finding very simple can sometimes be looking for a needle in a haystack.
Grateful if anyone can put me out of my misery :-)

What format are you exporting to?
Why even bother with the 'Export' option though? It's a lot of extra hassle and with that also more margin for issues, it'll be more efficient to rely on GoZ; the "Daz Studio to ZBrush bridge". Within DS go to 'Help => Installed plugins' and check that "GoZ" is present and active. If it is then select your posed figure within Daz Studio, go to: 'File => Send to ZBrush...'. Don't export at the current resolution, but obviously use "export with deformations".
ZBrush should start up and you'll end up with your (posed) figure as the active tool. Add it to the document, enable edit mode and you're good to go.
I took the liberty of attaching 2 screenshots which illustrate what I mean. In 'DS_Genesis' I added a figure based on Genesis, applied a pose and then sent it into ZBrush using GoZ. This brings us to 'ZB_Genesis' where you can immediately see that Genesis has become the active tool (and it also registered the 2 bikini parts as sub-tools (this can be really convenient for clothing purposes)). Drag the figure, enable 'Edit' mode ("t") and you're done. Also no need for making polymeshes and such because the figure already is a mesh, so... you can start working right away.
The reason why I strongly suggest this approach is ease of use: as soon as you're done in ZBrush then the only thing you have to do is press 'GoZ' (or optionally 'All', depending on context) to sent all your changes back into Daz Studio, couldn't be easier ("sorta", some things may take a bit of tweaking within ZB).
I hope this can give you some ideas.
(edit)
Just figured that you may not be using ZBrush but got Core or CoreMini, if that's the case then export your figure using the default "Daz Studio" preset ("1 unit = 1cm") and save the obj somewhere, you can ignore the .mtl file. Within ZBrush open the tool selector, select 'Import' and point to your obj. You may get some warnings about missing vertices, if so then just accept the default suggestion(s) for now, that should be enough.
