Well, not really. Best mouse I had was a rechargable MS mouse back about 10 years ago. I prefer wireless mice when creating, but not gaming so I have a wireless recharagble Logitech MX Anywhere and a wired gaming mouse. The good thing about the wireless is, when the battery dies, I can plug it in and keep using it while it's recharging.
I bought a Razer wireless mouse a few years ago and within a few months its left button was causing issues. It'd not register clicks or register single clicks as doubles - very annoying stuff. I had them RMA a replacement which looked to be brand new. Within a few months the replacement was doing the same thing. Got another RMA and wouldn't you know it, within a few months the exact same issue again. I have used a variety of other moderately priced mice, but the best lifespans have always been the cheaper $15 mice and I have no idea why.
When I was using a trackball they weren't programmable so I switched to a regular programmable mouse because of all the different graphics software I use. The one I use now is very programmable so commands from my top 2 modeling apps are programed in it for a quicker workflow. I'd probably still be using a trackball if I didn't do this for a living. The only thing I hated was having to clean the ball every day. We have 2 cats, one long hair (Maine Coon), one short hair (Gray Tabby) and 1 medium haired dog (Bluehealer) and all shed massively. If I let it go 2-3 days then the tiny spacer balls inside would clog and the wheels under the ball would be wrapped in hair.
