Daz Studio Won't Save

I've been having some issues saving recently. Not just with Daz not wanting to save finished renders to the render library, but even saving the .DUF. I haven't encountered this issue before and I don't know how to fix this issue.

What happens when you try?
I get a message that pops up that says "Could not save file to: C:Users/Owen/Documents/Daz3D/Studio/Render Library/Image01.png" when I go to save the render.
Look at the log and see if there are any warnings in it and post them here if there are any.
It's only the thumbnail that is failing by the look of it
There was a similar case quite recently, where security settings or antivirus was the culprit.
The culprit is Avast and its Ransomware Protection module. It protects the user's documents and pictures folders and blocks any creating of new files like pictures, office documents and much more or altering existing files by unsigned software. Well, and Daz Studio is not digitally signed, so it gets blocked.
White-list Daz Studio and you can save your renders. Or uninstall this pretty useless module from Avast, it doesn't really protect you from getting files encrypted by ransomware because they often use digitally signed drivers - and then the protection is disabled with that!
Assuming they are using Avast. I've been using Avast for well over a decade and never had a single problem where it blocked something. What security software are you using?
I have Avast Free Antivirus 21.7.2481 (Build 21.7.6523.689) . Installed was Avast with v20.9.5758.0 when I assembled my new PC in November last year, there this ransomware module was included (well, I uninstalled it later because it's only annoying).
Quite possible that this module is not installed automatically if you have an "old" version installed and you did only the online updates/upgrades without a completely fresh download and install.
I had the same issue recently, beginning immediately after the latest DAZ update. Racked my brain for a while, and found - eventually - that Avast! was blocking it. Had to add it to the approved applications list, then it was fine.
