Black dots from spotlight in render

Sorry if this has been addressed elsewhere but I cant find an answer. A friend of mine recommended using a sphere in the spotlight instead of the default point light. It seems to soften the light a bit. The problem is when I do this I end up with this in my render. Has anyone else experienced this? Do I have a setting wrong in my spotlight?

That's your spotlight. It appears as a physical object in your scene, unless you do as Richard said.
WOW! I knew it was something simple. Really appreciate the quick response. I've been using Daz for about a year and even though I've been playing with lighting and getting better at it (you should see some of my early stuff. It loolks like an '80s sitcom set.), I didn't use this because of that one silly issue.
You guys are great!
I keep getting these in the Reflection of the Render
