is animate lite of any use?

I am new to animation. I thought I had animate2(no idea why i thought that), but I have animate lite. It doesn't seem to be able to save my ani-blocks.

So my question: is animate lite of any use? Also, is Animate2 worth it?

I thought I could use this to make things like eye blinks, breathing, and other repeating things easier. if there are products that do that already please let me know

I don't know much about animation, so any advice about getting started would be very helpful.

Daz Studio runs the full AnimAte 2 for thirty days, then switchese to AniMate Lite - which is purely a palyer for existing AniBlocks. If you want to create new AniBlocks then you need the fill version; it also adds MDD export.

Maybe that is why I thought I had it...
