Anybody tried TerraDome2 in Daz?

It looks great but no mention of Daz compatibility.
I assume this means it isn't, but could it work in some way that's still useful, for backgrounds, terrain, etc?

I don't have TD2... just the original which I haven't played with for a long time... I saw over at RDNA forum discussion that TD2 was not compatible with DAZ Studio because Terrain shaders in TD2 make heavy use of poser shader nodes and some advanced shader techniques. Maybe they will come out with a DAZ version later on.
Yes, in surfaces tab, change Diffuse Color from black to white (or some other color)
Thanks.
Is that the only problem? Cos' we could apply our own/Daz shaders if necessary.
No, that's all I've ever had to do
For anyone interested, it's on special so I took the gamble.
Didn't pay off.
It can't load 'ground.obz', and there is only flat featureless ground and empty skydome with no morphs or nuthin'... pretty useless.
Pity, but save your money if you were thinking about testing it.
WorldbaseXT is the best I've found for Daz so far, in terms of simulating long distance backgrounds...
Yesterday I got TerraDome 2 for free with the holliday coupon. I only took a little glance at the product so far, but I did see the cannot load "ground.obz" message. What is this "ground.obz" file? Is it only available in Poser software? Where can I get this "ground.obz" file and how can I put it in Daz3D?
It's the Poser ground palne (obz is Poser's name for a compressed OBJ file). You could just use a plane primitive exported as OBJ 8in the right folder, though if the ground plane is going to be used for morphing that would not work. Even if the working geometry is in the set you are still likely to hit a brick wall as it uses .pmd files for its morphs.
