Can I remove old content out of product lists?

Is there any way to archive old content to remove it out of the Product list in Studio and/or the lists of DC?

I have quite a lot of content from the way early days, but by now I dont use Gen1 through 3 anymore (give or take some Gen3 clothing to try and auto-convert and re-shader) and I rarely use Gen4 (also mostly for convertion now and/or to go with some content bought elsewhere). And then there were some purchases that turned out less useful than I thought initially (or I found something better in the meantime)

Anyway, now all of this stuff is cluttering up my product lists. Literally hundreds of these products I don't use anymore. Is there any way to archive or at least hide the old content so it does not show up in my lists?

  • Products can be hidden in Install manager (right-click menu). In Daz Studio you can't hide, but anything that is not installed will (of coruse) not appear in the various Formats lists in Content Library adn will be listed after the installed products in the Products section, while Smart Content has Install State filters along the bottom that allow you to see only installed items.

I was afraid you (or someone) would say that smiley. I have switched to DAZCentral so I don't use the IM anymore and I was hoping for something like the hide function in DC as well as in the "Products" list in Studio. I know the uninstalled ones are at the end of the list, but when you have (I think-) some 300+ items under A alone, it would be nice to just shorten the list in general to make it easier to scroll through (and find things). Oh well I am perpetually working on making my own Content list, I guess I have to wait until I'm done with that. laugh shouldn't take more than a decade or so LOL.

You should not have switched.  Central is a dumbed down version of DIM so in this case newer is not better.
