New... DAZcentral CRASHES... can I download Daz Unity Bridge somewhere else?
Hello all, new to Daz. Game dev of 25+ years, Max user since v1, but working on a project and need quick characters/anims so was about to repurchase Poser and saw Daz and thought I would give it a whirl. Features look great but having a heck of a time getting things to work. Seems very buggy. I can't even get Daz central to work as it crashes/hangs soon after launching it. Using a Macbook Pro 2019 Intel. Anyhoo, I want to test the pipeline and was trying to export an anim to my Unity project but ... I can't download the bridge since I can't get central to run. So my question is...
Is there a way to download the Unity Bridge installer directly, without having to use DAZcentral? (or is there a way to get DAZ central to run?)
Thx

Daz central has been reported by several users to be having issues on the Mac. Fortunately most report that Install Manager is stable https://www.daz3d.com/get_install_manager/ Daz is aware of the issues people are having.
Ok, thank you. I did poke around and see that there is also the install manager to try. I did that but could not see the Unity bridge. More poking around and I could only see it after turning the filters on to allow Windows os as well which was disheartening. I then poked around more to realize that OS is not supported so all that for nothing. It should not be this difficult. I guess I will try Poser. Thx again.
Cannot get the new DazCentral to work either (macOS 11.6). Hangs. Have to force-quit. Tried three times.
The above linked DIM (install manager) won't run either since it's not correctly signed.
Are Mac users completely blocked from using Daz products?
Edit: I forgot about the ability to right-click and specify Open (prompts you if you're sure you want to run the software). So I was also able to get Install Manager working.
