What causes these odd creases on underwear?

For some models I find the Basic Wear Panties unusable because these creases begin to show up. I tried removing the textures entirely to see if it was those (in the surfaces tab), but was unsuccessful so I wonder if the mesh itself is broken apart?

Plain Genesis 8F is fine. I run into this problem whenever I have to shape them slightly (even for small adjustments with fit control. Does anyone know what is causing the creases?

    That seems like the kind of thing that happens when there's no rigidity maps. The underlying morph is disrupting the mesh. But you say this is a Genesis 8, using the clothing from the Genesis 8 Starter Pack?

    You could try adding a smoothing modifier to the underwear. Try changing the type to "Generic".
