Hair

Hello everyone! How to remove hairs from hairstyles? All hairstyles with such hairs - when exporting to obj format - I don't need them.

  • Generally that would require editing the OBJ file afer export (or using the Geometry Editor tool before, but a  dedicated modeller would usually be more straightforward), I fear, though different hairsd may have different possibilities depending on how they are made.

    ???

If you remove the hairs from a hairstyle, you get a bald person...

  • I tell myself there's got to be a missing image from the 1st post for this to make sense. Otherwise, if you don't want hair, don't put it on.

I think they mean like bangs or strands, but it depends on the hair, some you can edit in like Blender but not some of the new Dforce ones.

  • You could try to click on the hair, go into the surfaces tab and see if there's different areas listed there. If there are, just turn the cutout opacity to zero on each one to see if the part you want gone disappears!

That won't affect the geometry exported to OBJ.
