If you’re a PC+ (Platinum Club+) Member, you’ve enjoyed benefits like exclusive discounts, freebies, and year-round special offers. In the coming months, we’ll be making some exciting changes to the PC+ program, including added perks, exclusives, and a new name that will better align with the Daz 3D brand and community.
So with that, what’s changing?
Platinum Club+ Is Evolving Into Daz+
We’re refreshing the Platinum Club+ Membership and giving it a new name: Daz+. This change works to clear up confusion around the “PC” abbreviation and marks an evolution in the benefits you’ll receive. This simple change unifies the Daz 3D brand with the name of the program and adds even more perks to your membership at the same price you pay now.*
Meet Your New Perks
These upcoming changes infuse your PC+ Membership with even more benefits alongside the exclusive perks you’ve always enjoyed. However, PC+ Memberships and Items will soon be referred to as “Daz+” Memberships and Items.
On top of your current membership benefits, you’ll soon have access to additional perks with the change from PC+ to Daz+, including:
- Daz+ Exclusive Items: Items that are only available to Daz+ members — you’ll see exclusive items this week!
- Third-Party Coupons: Exclusive access to discounts from Daz 3D partners
- Monthly Live Tutorials: 12 months of live Daz Studio tutorials that will be yours to keep after streaming
- All Current PC+ Perks: Your current PC+ benefits will stay the same, we’re simply adding more to the program
What Else Is Changing?
That’s it… for now. The Daz 3D team will continue to explore new ways to reward subscribers with exciting perks, benefits, and events moving forward. The official change from PC+ to Daz+ won’t happen right away and is planned for an update coming in the fall. We’ll keep you updated as we get closer to the official launch of Daz+ Memberships.
For now, there’s nothing you need to do to switch and your membership will be updated automatically once Daz+ launches. You can continue using your PC+ Membership as you always would!

there's confusion about the PC in the name after nearly 20 years...? hmm...riiiiigggghhhtttt
Actually, you'd be surprised with new customers.
For us, it's easy to forget since the acronyms are ingrained in our heads.
The fact that "PC" has other meanings, at least one of which seems directly related ("Is there any reason for me to get PC+ when I have a Mac?") probably adds to the confusion.
Personally, I don't know that I'd spend $24 a quarter on a Politically Correct Plus membership, especially when you consider all the great perks and privileges you get from the free basic Politically Correct package.
It's going to get even more confusing, since those familiarized with PC will keep on using it.
Are the exclusive items going to always be available to Daz Plus members, or are they in the store for a limited time? I only ask because I noticed the recent mega bundle was only available for a few days so just curious if it's an exclusive you need to jump on this right away type deal.
I like the additional perks for sure!
What affect does all this have on the membership price in the near future? Will it stay the same ($70 annual)? Or is this the lead in for a price increase to go with the name change and new perks?
It is good to see new things being added, to hopefully counter the losses we've felt recently, since there have been more and more fixed price sales that exclude PC+ 30% DO discount and PC+ coupons. Members have been vocally unhappy lately and need something to make the membership feel valuable again.

I've got to be honest, being on this side of the Atlantic, my first reaction this morning to the new name DAZ+ was to wonder if there was going to be yet another promise to get my whites even whiter.
I think if PC+ caused confusion, Daz+ will cause even more - we have people calling Daz Studio DAZ, now we have Daz+ - so how are they going to know the difference between Daz3D, Daz Studio and Daz+? (and yes I have washed by Daz as well)
same way we drink Pepsi Max to the max and cannnot afford Adobe Max or Autodesk 3DMAX but can load Apollo Max in Poser 7
It'll confuse me, that's for sure. DAZ+ will make me think of DAZ Originals.
But ah well, nothing we can do about it. Just have to wait and see what happens.
In the mail about the subject, can anyone tell me what the product is in the last picture? The woman with the suit and tie? I want those clothes :D

Living on the other side of the planet, I am sleeping when the live webinars start if it's 4pm US time. So not a perk for me (a link to the webinars would be useful though).
3rd party coupons... depends on whether I buy from those partners. Cannot say that's a perk for me right now.
Confusion? Absolutely. I can see myself mixing up DAZ+ items and DO. And being a lazy a** myself I hate the need to type one extra letter when I write in the forum LOL so I will probably just type D+
Keeping the membership price the same? It's a MUST. And Daz you better keep your words.

It will probably be available as a download from you product library or DIM, or it could be a private link. Those are just guesses. I honestly don't know as of yet.

It's been called PC+ for years, so nothing new...
...yeah I continue to call our city's arena by it's original name (the "Rose Garden") even though it now has a corporate one. Same for old Civic Stadium west of downtown which has changed corporate hands of a couple times who put their names on it as well.
LOL i know what you mean. Our national phone company changed from Telecom to Telstra back in 1995 or so and I have been known to still call it "Telecom" occasionally. Same with our State's electricity provider - it went from FNQEB to Ergon around '99 and both my husband and I called it FNQEB a few times. I also said something about the "telegraph poles" along the road as we driving the other day - my husband laughed so hard. I don't believe I'm that old. LOL.
I call them "Dazzo's" LOL. We have a mate called Dazza, and my brain just looks at DO/DAZ Originals and sees "Dazzo's".
DAZ+?... Well, finally... for years I was confusing PC+ with my Platypus Cabal Plus membership and my Penguin Cabaret Positive subscription...
Unfortunately I still shop at the Despotic Alpaca Zone + (it's "plus" because it's not just cute authoritarian alpaca uniforms, it's housewares too!), so the confusion will continue...

Well, I do like the idea with more extras on PC+ / DAZ+. But I would suggest to get the basics right, first. The DAZ store is still a mess, afer almost one years since the changeover. Each and every day users are reporting issues, the moderators are serving as a "bug reporting tool" for the storefront. They are doing well, but I would expect a forum moderator to do something different.
We have been told that the store changeover last year was necessary to get rid of all the previous errors. Well, the changeover happend, the errors remain. So, perhaps the issues lie elsewhere?
Now, PC+ is changing to DAZ+. What will await us?. Don't you dare wake the dragon....
