As an artist who creates lots of younger characters, I appreciate this new figure!

    I'm personally disappointed. Kayden looks amazing, don't get me wrong, but I was excited about having an 8.1 substitute for Lee 8. Love Lee in every generation; always has been my favorite figure, and with Naska being an adult I figured we'd get an Asian adult male next. Oh well, I can still hope there will be a Lee 8.1 eventually.

    Kayden looks fantastic though, and everything releasing with him.

    He's in my cart waiting for tomorrow. 

    I see that the character himself is HD, no additional HD add-on required.

    Seems to mix nicely with others, and the others all seem to come out looking like adolescents. About time.

    I was about to ask the same question. I got 15% (edit: 12%) off for owning ninja animations. No orange banner, and I own most of 8.1 bundles.

    Yeah, instant go into cart. New youthful base figure? Yes, go into the cart.

    Also, it's someone to fight all the Pirates. (Because Pirates versus Ninjas.)

    I also did not get any Orange banner, so I'm curious to know if anyone else got one.

    I'll probably not get the bundle. I don't need another cute female character. I probably wouldn't ever use the hair. Have no use for the animations. But the hakama looks very good. I may regret getting it, if it's dForce only, but a lot of dForce stuff is at least somewhat usable without jumping through that hoop.

    And this time they made the scars optioal. WHich is a step in the right direction right there.

    I do like the character, but:

    • Hakama and Kimono looks nice
    • Don't like that Kiru hair
    • I've no use for the Just Kayden poses
    • Don't like Baboo. At all.
    • Not sure when I would use a Ninja Kid outfit, but perhaps I might sometime.
    • I don't do animations (I know some use them, but I wonder how many?)
    • I like Daiji

    It looks like no sale on the bundle, just a few items wishlisted.

    He looks like Bretman Rock in some promos lol... so he seems to be a fun guy. Glad that he has a no-scar option. The scars look alright, but the color is kinda off. A scar does not really look like a scar if it doesn't have some sort of discoloration.

    Is he one of the core figures or just a figure that Daz decided to jump on board with? Usually cores come out every 2 weeks, and it hasn't been 2 weeks yet.

    Take all the outfits used in the Baboo promos, put them in a bundle, and I will buy it.

    I am not sure what the deal is with male figures with scars but it seems a common thing done with the male figures lately.

    His figure is cute. Not really into anything else other than him. The kookie adult male, is ok as well. 

    the hair and clothing look... pretty unremarkable.

    Some test renders. Couldn't find any brow attachments in my collection that looked right, so the dark sets are the baked in version. Last one is with Macey and Judy Love

    What do I think? Kayden is trying to be both the Karate Kid and this Last Airbender boy at the same time. (Though FenixPhoenix and Esid made a scar that looks closer to what Zuko has.)

    I need to figure out my cart and wait for a bit, because I like his mixes too. Need to add more variety to my boys besides just throwing in a bit of Growing Up G8M every time.

    Well, it can be used on adults too by the look of it

    Even if you don't do aniamtions an animated pose is a whole set of linked poses, many of which could be used as single-frame poses too.

    I always assume it's an alternative to lots of makeups.

    The 'problem' with all the latest bundles is, that DAZ always add promo pictures of the new characters with clothes, which are not part of the bundle.I really want to know, which outfit was used for that promo picture:

    Does anyone know or tried if the hakama outfit or the wadaiko brothers outfit can be fitted onto G8 female? It's not like I'm jello that male toons got the awesome looking traditional outfits :)
    Or can we expect some (non-slooty) female versions of these clothes? :3

    Not for me because I don´t render kids, but Kayden does look pretty cool.

    I like the Hakama outfit a lot.

    Okay, simple render with Kayden.

    He's a good-looking lad. Too smol to be Prince Zuko out of the box (and maybe about the right age for Aang), but maybe if blended with an older figure he'd work as Zuko.

    Why does the Young Grasshopper bundle come with the female Baboo character? I don't understand the decision behind this...and would have bought the bundle otherwise.

     

    Is the inclusion of female items in male bundles (and vice versa) to be the norm moving forward?

    Elianeck has such creative promos! Sometimes I forget what the product actually is because I’m so drawn into the complexities of the promos. I bought Baboo but hope I can make her look as interesting as Elianeck did! 

    Kayden is cute but I really don’t need another teenage boy right now or anything in the bundle except Baboo who is adorable. I am considering Elianek’s other character Areta, but I can’t tell if I actually like the character that much or just Elianek’s creative promos!

    I bought Baboo & Kayden 8.1 even though they aren't a close match stylistically I wanted the possibility to mix with Toon Generations & Cartoonized.

    Me. And I waited a little bit longer for the second bundle to be released. So, now I can get both bundles for $ 4.25 plus my coupon.
