Help with older content

Greeting all,
Been a long while since I have used Daz (Daz Studio 4.12 currently) and am having some trouble loading older content. Manually installed them the usual way but they don't show up in My Content. I have many clothing pieces and a few props I have purchased and now can't use them. I have intalled all files in the proper directories (Runtime>Libraries, Geometries, Textures, etc.) None of which show up in Daz Studio. Some newer ones, installed in the same directories DO show up. Very confused as to a solution. Can some provide some guidence. Thanks in advance for any help

If they are not showing up they may not be in the proper directories - and you certainly shouldn't see the Runtime folder in the Daz Studio Formats section, or anything but the standard library subfolders in Poser Formats.
Are you looking in the proper directory? Any pack that have that file structure will be found in the "Poser Format" directory. If they aren't in there then it was probably installed into the wrong directory.
do you have the name of one or two of them... I have lots of old content .... can check mine.
Hmm, you folks just tipped me off to something. All the older stuff might be Poser formats indeed. Will shuffle some files around and post back with results, glitches, etc.
Thanks for the quick response.
I have the Poser Content folder properly configured and dropped in one of my most important models.
Lisbeth's Elita Hair, I had it installed and working perfectly in Studio3. I have Studio 4 now and it loads without a problem, all poses and texture work.
However now there is now an issue with fitting (including some other small clothing item I tried). The model I was using in Studio3 was Victoria3, I am now using Victoria7.
I thought they were both Gen3? Is there a workaround for this? Thx.
Victoria 3 is Generation 3. Victoria 7 is Genesis 3.
So there is no workaround, fitting or conversin method for these??
For hair, the most efficient method is usually to load the hair without fitting it, scale/morph/position it manually so it fits when the figure is in defaut position, then parent it to the head. You might have to adjust it a bit once the figure is posed, but that way you keep all custom bones and morphs of the hair.
This product can be used to convert V3 clothes to Genesis 3: https://www.daz3d.com/wear-them-all-autofit-clones-expansion-for-genesis-3-male-s-and-genesis-3-female-s
And this one to convert them to Genesis 8: https://www.daz3d.com/sy-victoria-3-and-michael-3-clones-for-genesis-8
For textures, there's this product which allows you to use V3 textures on Genesis 3: https://www.daz3d.com/legacy-uvs-for-genesis-3-special-edition-victoria-3
AFAIK there's no equivalent for Genesis 8.
Thanks for the heads up on tthose products. The WTA converter says that it also does hair, has anyone tried this feature and does it work decently?
Also, I have fooled around with a similar method (albiet, the long way round) by loading in the poser model/figure, converting it to autoconforming weight mapping (triaxis) and parenting to the head. Sounds similar to what you suggest, the morphs remain but conforming to the body shape and position leaves MUCH to be desired.
Autofit does convert hair, but the results really depend on the hair. For example it will remove custom bones, like if you have a ponytail or braids with specific bones to pose them you'll lose that and will only get a generic rig. It can also have problems with very long hair.
