How to only select eye vertices in gemetry editor?

Hello,

I am trying to remove the effects of a morph on the eyes of a figure. So I am trying to select only the eye vertices in gemetry editor so I can clear their morph deltas.

Currently, I am using lasso selection and then using Alt select to slowly remove as much of the surrounding selections as I can. Is there an easiler way to only select the vertices on the eye?

Thanks

Picture of what I mean:

When I use lasso to select the eye vertices, it selects the nearby face vertices as well. Currently, I am just alt selecting to slowly remove the other vertices. Is there a faster way?

You can select by surface(s) Iris, Pupil, Cornea, sclera, etc. in the right click menu. You can also deselect by surface or region etc. There are lots of options when you right click in the viewport with the Geometry Editor tool.

To add to what Barbult said, select a single eye vertex/face and then right-click. Somewhere in the maze of menus is an option to select connected vertices.

  • You can also use the Tool Settings pane, it has a list of all the different group types showing how many of its members are selected and having a +/- button next to each to select or deselect all of its members.

Thanks! Didnt know there were selection options by right clicking.

In case anyone else is also trying to do this:

Got it to work by right clicking then going to geometry selection > select by > face groups > lEye and rEye.
