Changing clothing color

I am looking to change an outfits color from red to white, I want to keep the cloth texture but remove the color and change it to white. Is there a way to do this without changing the color of the texure map itself? Or do I need to change the map color for this?

depends on how the PA set it up. If it's just a red texture, then you will need to load that texture intoman image editor like GIMP or photoshop and create a white texture

Thanks. Yeah, I thought perhaps I could change it in the surface panel. But i suppose changing the texture itself is the quickest and easiest. Thank you!

It really depends on the PA also. I have found some clothing items where the PA used a white textures and just changed the color in the diffuse slot
