Why are his eyes white?

sad SIGH, yet another issue with Iray. As you can see with the image below, his eyes always turn out like this whenever rendering a scene, super annoying. Any idea how to fix this?

Is this an older character without iray support, or have you loaded a new skin  material on the character? I believe people here will need more information to help you. Besides the image can't be seen (at least by my Edge browser)

Try to apply proper Iray shaders or materials for the figure.

If the figure has a geoshell, turn off the eye material zones. If not, use the surface selector tool to select the white surface and adjust the opacity/refraction.

That's not a render.  Could you post a render showing a closeup of the eyes.  Please also tell us what figure it is, and what character is applied to the figure, and what the texure/material/shader is applied to each oart of the eye.  Does this white eye problem happen with every character and every render,or just this one.  Is the render engine set to iRay?  Are the materials made for iray?  Is the lighting made for iRay?  Do you apply anything to alter the shaders, such as Omnifreaker Uber Surface, or Anageneses?  Try and turn off the CORNEA.

White eyes in viewport is different from white eyes in render, but from what I see it looks like the maps for the sclera and irises are missing. Did you check the materials?
  • That is still a  preview, not a render.

One thing that will do this is if the Corona has Refraction Index > 1 and Refractinon Weight < 1 with no transmap for Cutout Opacity. Some texture sets use a transmap on the Corona, some don't. On the ones that don't use transmaps, the Refraction Weight has to stay at 1.00, or it looks opaque. If the Sclera is affected too, that's another story. Try doing a render to a new window. That's a real render, not a preview.
