Is there a way to make it load faster? I noticed and figured it out that the reason it takes minutes to load a G8 female is because it has so many associations. I have tons of G8F characters if not 100 close to 100, while for the Guy G8M i have something like 20. By associations i mean, she doesnt have morphs onto it, she's just the base character but it seems to me that because there's a bunch of characters installed that use her as a base that she has "associations". AM i right?
And is there a way to make it load faster?

The more morphs you have installed, the slower the figure will load, as DS needs to process each morph to create the dials and identify relationships between morphs.
A hundred characters should not cause "minutes" loading time, I think some on those characters have problems with other characters.
Wgat does your log say when you load the "Genesis 8 Basic Female"?, attach the log to your post, don't copy the text into the message area.
The advantage of a slow computer. If you are lucky, you can see the yellow progress bar working as a figure loads (note the arrow in the attached picture). I think that while loading Daz isn't stopping updates. You add one morph, and all the other morphs start firing, and since the routines are asynchronous, in very short order you have a cascade nuclear reaction and need a supercomputer.
If your figure is utilizing Layered Image Editor overlays which can be common with vendors who make makeup/tattoo's, etc.you may see significant load times

What I do is use the Content Directory Manager to create different sets of directories combined with Content Gatherer software to make two directory sets. One has all the character morphs I have installed making sure characters are installed in a seperate directory than all other content. The other directory which I named Optimized directory only has the morphs for the characters I created.
So basically if I want to create a new character I choose the directory with all the characters > Create the character and save it > Use content gatherer on that save file to extract all the morphs and put those morphs into a seperate Optimized directory > load character using the Optimized directory.
