Products no more available in store

Products no more available in store are available only in product library which has an awful user experience.

I spent around 30 minutes to find two products clicking each item in library so I can see the promo image (loading time around 30s - 1min) because I didn't remember the product name.

This is totally a no go, I hope Daz founds a sollution for this and really soon otherwise customers will be forced to move to other stores.

Other stores are about the same, in regards to tracking down products. But yes, the product library needs an overhaul, as far as searching within it goes.

Most other stores are the same way, and this one has been working like that for years without all the customers leaving, so don't hold your breath.

No idea, several items by Dax Avalange seem to have left the store but not all.

Would be a nice start. Its very useful in DS, but since I have not installed everything (character morphs can slow down even the fastes rig), I would appreciate if such categorization would be available in my account's product library as well.

Other stores are *not* the same. You cannot search the suppressed products, but at least you still have the product page even if a product is removed and have access to the promos pics/vids, products addons or other useful information if you have the link.

At daz, you still have the readme, but it is less informative and does not compensate for the lack of the product page.

And the readmes of suppressed assets are surprinsigly difficult to access. You need to find the SKU of the product (at least it is now indicated in the content library and you no longer have to search it in the URL), then you need to modifiy the URL of another readme page with this SKU to access the readme. I made a firefox keyword for that, but why isn't there a link to the readme in the content library?

Ah, K, Sorry. I misunderstood. I use DIM so everything is pretty easy to find. It has most of the filters you'd want except categories in the way users would want it, via props, enviroment, clothing, etc. and filter by artist. The two would be a huge plus and would get everyone into DIM, Imo.

I use DIM too, but I prefer looking for things in the Product Library, since there's no redirecting. I just see the main product pic and usually that's enough to remember what the product is. Unlike DIM, I can look through my Product Library on a mobile device. So it having more ways to search through it would be extremely helpful.

I wish the product library looked like the store page.

The "Only show owned" option from the browser add-on is almost that, but then you miss products that are no longer available in the store.

So you can spend your time in the Lost and Found category? ;)

There is a link in DS - right-click on the product (not a file) and select More Information. Read mes can also be reached by the i (for information) icon next to their name in Install Manager

I have 60 pages of products I'm not going to do that every time I want to find something that fits my scene. The only sollution I found is to bookmark the products URL into category folders. But it's still a lot of work.

In other stores I have a nice list with all ittems that I own (available or not) with promo image and short description.

Next month I have some free time and I'm thinking to create a browser addon or separate page to improve the product library. Do you know if they have an open API? Or at least to have the CORS enabled.

Well there is already a (very useful) browser add-on for Daz site, but I don't know how it works exactly. Maybe the people who made it could give you pointers?

    Here's the thread about the add-on: https://www.daz3d.com/forums/discussion/454726/announcing-daz-deals-browser-add-on-ii/p1

Actually, pages for delisted products in Product Library became sad as they don't contain all  promo images anymore like they used to be (maybe some other differences i dont remember). So now it's just main (1st) picture + description + what's included

    :(

There is a link in DS - right-click on the product (not a file) and select More Information. Read mes can also be reached by the i (for information) icon next to their name in Install Manager

But none of that in Product Library page on site. So we have to roleplay as Sherlock and search readme via SKU.

I've never seen more than the main promo image in the Product Library, available or not.

Ah, then my memory betrays me. Thanks.

    EDIT:

I think now, in the past DAZ let us seen product pages for delisted product instead of copying parts of them into library.

With this one you can view the main promos for all your products on one page.  Clicking on a promo will show all data for the product, both all promos, the product page, and the library page.  Locates any preset for any installed product in DS Content Library with two clicks. Tagging products and creating product groups is coming soon.
