DazCentral for MAC- is it safe?

I'm on MacOS Catalina 10.15.7 and i would love to use DazCentral, but my fragil psyche and work schedule can not handle a day wasted from a problematic app. I'm not doing any fancy with Daz. one or two scripts. a crap load of assets. 

Will it screw up my work flow, even if i have to uninstall it?

Is it dangerous to go alone?

Will this be me tonight if i try it?

If you already have a way of installing content, that works for you, I would not recommend chancing DAZ Central. At all.

What if i just wanted to use as catalog of sorts to view my content easier?

I would recommend using the DAZ Deals Browser addon, that has a support thread here:https://www.daz3d.com/forums/discussion/454726/announcing-daz-deals-browser-add-on-ii#latest. And then you can use the store and select to "only show items Owned". That's what I personally use and as long as it's not an item that's been discontinused or removed from the shop, you can look at promos and product info at your leisure.
