Who the heck is Tafi??

Just noticed today that the footer on the DAZ website states that 'DAZ 3D is part of Tafi'....

So my question is in the title - who the heck are Tafi? Never heard of them, and never seen anything relating to this on the forums? Was there a buy-out or a takeover?

    There was discussion about it when the NFTs were launched. It seems like Tafi used to be a company called Morph3D who sold Genesis 2 products for game engines. Then the owner of that company became the CEO of Daz, and somewhere along the way must've restructured it into a subsidiary.

    Thanks for the info. So long as it doesn't mean too many major changes to the way things are, I'm ok with it :)

    Morph3D was a daz offshoot/trading name, Tafi is much the same except that Tafi is now the main name and Daz 3D the trading name.
