Collaborative asking

Hi, have been a member of this place for a long time, since genesis 2 release maybe xD and I have had so much fun with it but as many of us I think I don't own all I would like to use and some times I just need a screen and won't gonna require it again in the near time, this said that kind of partiality keeps me out from buy a one time use asset but I skip on my narrative such things and came up with an idea that I wanted to share and I hope it's not out of daz rules, And is as follows:

I own some stuff, from here and other websites, I'm willing to put to your disposition those assets but not as like send them to you because that is not ok, the way I think about is that everyone of us maybe have had that problem I explained above, so gimme the idea of the Render, angle and stuff you want, i render the asset you need as the sketch u give me, so you can use the Render as postwork on an image editor on your narrative, like someone asks for a group of instancified hobgoblins and you can place them as Bill boards on your render, or a group of low quality background knights on a daz horse in different poses, or a lot of dragons 3 with many shapes that you don't own but I do, just saying, sending a sketch of the scene or position and ppl can post work them, so we all can help each other to create and focus on the products we surelly want to use all the time, hope I don't offend someone or breaking some rule around, is not about share models, but to share our hability to use them and help narratives of the ppl that need it, sorry for take your time, and hope you have an amazing render time!

This would still hurt PA sales. You have two types of users at Daz, artist types like you and creators that are here to make money.

Thnx for replying, but I guess I disagree, I will trow my money on new models about fantasy  and magic knowing I can ask our ppl for backgrounds about they like, ppl that love magnificent natural scenarios, ppl that collect ruins, etcetera, they can keep throwing the money on those things they like the most, just objects because characters well, that is a very complex subject, but just wanted to give my idea a chance, i often see myself saying I will buy this or that and I don't happen to do so because another asset comes up, but yea I guess u have a point there, just watching it from my side and I thnk  u for share you perspective

I understand your perspective, but having done 3D for a living in the past I always look at things from a commercial aspect and not an artistic one. let me ask you, do you work? how do you pay for the electricity, the transportation, the food you eat, the money has to come from somewhere. This is a very small market, so PAs rely on every sale they can get if this is their only job, so anything that takes away a sale can make a big difference in paying the bills.

Example, attached is a render of Aako's dry mud flats, great landscape product. If a fellow user needed a desert background for an image and I supplied him with this image instead of him buying this or another product, then I am potentianlly taking a sale away from Aako which isn't fair or ethical IMO, but unfortunately not against the EULA

I honestly believe that if I want to keep doing this hobby/business it's in my best interest to support the PAs so that I will have plenty of options in the future (or do it myself)

Well, there are many ways to hook the buyers, not trying to convince u, just adressing the point u brought to the table, I work in a field where I have many competittors that do the same thing I do, my way to hook them and keep them loyal is to provide advicing without cost on small enginering solutions and when they need the main service is where I make the money, i can ask for a render but maybe never gonna come up as i want, and watch the product from another person giving impressions maybe convince ppl to adquire it because the difussion of examples of how it behaves will draw attention to it and ppl that arent convinced to get it will fall when they eventually know wa they need, i wont gonna stay on fantasy subjects always, and ended up using phograps i take to fill the holes heheheh, thnx for the feedback, thnx for share ur knowledge
