I need help with wet body iray

Here we have Brahm, a G3M figure. On the left he's just as he came. On the right he's got Wet Body Iray Water Beads Water applied. His skin has become darker. What can I do to avoid that?
Thanks for your help.

Have you tried playing around with the base and glossy color? (Click in the color bar, don't move the cross, only the slider (in the right) upwards.
Also translucency tends to darken the material, so you could try lower "translucency weight", but that could cost you some realism...
Also you could change the overall lighting, or do postwork on PS / Gimp.
Edit to note that glossiness can be better seen if the surface isn't too bright...
I changed every color on the geo shell to white. Translucency weight is down to zero. Same deal.
I meant the skin surface of Brahm itself, as I don't own this product, I didn't know how it created the effect. Could you give that a try?
Oh my! Thanks! That's done it. Can anybody help me with making the water drops look like water drops instead of goose bumps?
Did you undo the changes to the geoshell? Did the effect look like that before you made any changes in order to make that skin brighter?
Yes. I removed the geoshell I'd messed with and put a new one on. The water bumps looked like skin bumps whatever settings I was using
Maybe more translucency (geoshell), or lower the opacity of the geoshell, Index of refraction should be about 1.3 (water), you could play around with fhe glossy color of the geoshell (for this you have to change "share glossy inputs " to "off" and now you could try to make it a bit darker, so it differs from the skinsurface of Brahm...
Unfortunately i can't try myself, I am assuming, that you have to try to make the reflection of the Geoshell look a bit different than that of the skin surface of Brahm.
Wish you luck and somebody who knows more than me!
