Genesis 3 beards

By my estimate I've been using Daz for about two years now, with Genesis 8 as my default figure. As far as beards are concerned,

is it fair to say this is a G8 feature? I tried searching the store for G3 beards, for example, and the ones I find are typically dual-purposed,

i.e. G3M and G8M. Just wondering if I missed some corner spot in the vast Daz market landscape.
