Anyone using Daz with Windows 11 yet?

Just wondering how things are going with that :)

  • No problems so far.  At least, no new ones anyway.

  • Thanks for the info :)

I got the you cannot install on both laptop & tower. Since I can afford to experiment with my laptop. I have someone at work who does PC stuff for me he also is part of the M$ dev team. He installed it on my laptop so far so good!

I upgraded to Windows 11 and DAZ Studio seems to run slower than it did on Windows 10.

I don't know. Getting frustrated, but maybe Windows 11 is just doing it's thing and it will speed up eventually? Urghhh!

What are your system specifications? There is, I belive, a known issue with AMD CPUs at the moment.

My DAZ Studio 4.15.1.xx is running it seems faster at least as far as creating scenes because I upgraded my CPU to an AMD Ryzen 7 5700G but because the GPU has been downgraded from an PNY GeForce 1650 4GB Super to the AMD Ryzen 7 5700G renders run slower.

I have an Alienware desktop with a Nvidia GeForce graphics card.

Funny, it seems to be running a lot faster now just 24 hours after upgrading to Windows 11. Who knows what is going on behind the scenes. Updates, etc. maybe.

    So I think it's good.

I didn't even know you could use DAZ Studio with an AMD card, so I guess it's now compatible which is nice.

You could always use Srudio with an AMD card. It just won't use the GPU to render if you use Iray. It will use the CPU instead.

I think that what was being asked is do you know what CPU is in your computer, is it an Intel or AMD CPU.. As there are still some issues at the moment with AMD CPU's and Windows 11..
