Looking for figure texture conversion programs that works between victoria 3.x to Genesis 2

DAZ introduces new figures and in the hope of getting people to buy more models and clothing and accessories, they leave the previous models behind, like, 'okay, we're over Victoria 4, now it's time to buy this model and its accessories'. But how about supporting users of previously purchased figures and textures? I'd love to have a way to use my thousands of clothes and hair on later generation models, such as Genesis. X-Dresser and Clothing Converter works between V3 and V4 and Poser characters**, but I haven't seen any that converts between them and genesis figures. If someone knows of a conversion program between Genesis and the rest of the world, let me know here? I am particularly interested in texture conversion... some of my most photo-realistic characters are Victoria 3, and I'd love to be able to have the versitility of using any Daz texture and convert it to another to "enlarge the gene pool" so to speak. Your recommadions are welcome!.

**correction to above, minor as it is... X-Dresser (at least the version I have) doesn't work with unimesh (a.k.a. V4+) figures.

To autofit clothes and hairstyles to V3, buy V3/M3 Shapes for Genesis. To use morphs, buy GenX2 and proper addons. For textures... I guess Texture Converter with proper addons would work (in this case, from V3 to V4 and V4 textures used on Genesis out of the box or on Gen2F with V4 for Gen2F).

Xdresser does work with Gen4 figures if you have the licences for them. Well, at least Xdresser 3 and 3 do.

Do you have something to convert the textures between Gen3 and Gen4 ?
There's no product available which would add the Gen3 UVs to Genesis or G2F/G2M. IIRC the biggest problem is that the material zones and texture setup are too different and some of the materials zones in Genesis would need parts located on 2 different texture files.

But it's rather easy to use Gen 4 textures on Genesis or Genesis 2.

Genesis 1 can use textures made for V4/M4 by default, their UVs are included with the base.
Genesis 2 Female can use V5 textures by default. It can use V4 textures too if you have the "V4 for Genesis 2 Female" product, which will add V4 UVs and an autofit clone for clothes.
Genesis 2 Male can use M5 textures by default. It can also use M4 textures if you have the "M4 for Genesis 2 Male" product, which will add M4 UVs and an autofit clone for clothes.

If you have a texture converted to V4, Genesis 1 and V5 you can also use Map Transfer (included in DS) to convert the V4 textures to V5 UVs, that G2F can use. In the same way if you have a M3 texture converted to M4, Genesis 1 and M5 you can convert the texture to M5 UVs, that G2M can use.

For morphs you have the "Generation X 2" product in the store here. By default it will convert morphs from Gen4 figures to Genesis 1, but there are add-ons to support Gen3 figures and Genesis 2.

For clothes there's autofit: by default with Genesis 1 you have an autofit clone for Gen4 figures, and if you buy the Gen3 legacy shapes for Genesis you get an autofit clone for Gen3 clothes, so that gives you Gen3 to Genesis 1.
Wardrobe Wizard and Xdresser also support Genesis 1 IIRC.

Genesis 2 Male and Female have an autofit clone for Genesis items by default, and you can get a clone for M4 / V4 items by buying "V4 for G2F" and "M4 for G2M" products. There's no clone for Gen3 items available currently, but if you can convert from Gen3 to Genesis 1 you can then convert the resulting item to G2F / G2M.

Texture converter at the moment is the only way as said but at least V3, A3, D3 &M3; share UV mapping so a plugin for one will work with say V4 to use on Genesis, I actually have been going the OTHER way and putting my later texture stuff on V3 & M3 to "improve " them as plenty of the old clothes are quite nice and work better on their original figures.
A generation3 UV for later figures is apparently being worked on by Pendria I believe.
