That is the very first time that happened to any of my (intended) purchases. Is that the new discounting schema for DAZ? Might have to re-consider my buying habits.
It's not the first time one discount has replaced another, but I believe the wording is being updated to make things clear. I think perhaps they phrased it differently because, as far as I can see, the 3+ new releases are not going to get the extra discount, only the bundle will, so they needed to make that clear by wording it to refer explicitly to the bundle.
well, at least many of you have an orange banner to help defray some of the cost. I have nothing, so will buy nothing. The lowest I can go is $100 for the mega bundle. I like this bundle a lot. I'm headed to buy Civilization VI Anthology for $31. straight out 69% off. no coupon codes no confusion, no upsets.
Every day it seems like this place has turned into a runaway pocket economy.
Although I do like the bundle a lot, it still does not add up for me. Too expensive, and the $60 of Daz Originals is not really tempting for me (none of the available items are on my whish list). Cart dumped.
That kind of discount is used rather often, for example during big sales you often have "one item is 40% off, 2 or more is 50% off".
What happened ??? I kept getting signed out every time I tried to go to the forums and if I signed in it took me to my account and then trying to go to the forums I was signed out again!
Did the Sale terms change? The website now says:

If I put the Christmas Carol mega bundle in my cart and then add three new releases, the price of the bundle is supposed to drop 20%, correct? The price doesn't change for me currently.

I also can get the bundle down to $80.27, but it's spendy for a theme I don't use much. More Regency stuff rather than Victorian would be preferred, but even then, I don't use it much.
When I've got the bundle in the cart more for the $60 in "free" DO stuff than the contents of the bundle, I have to reasses priorities.
I did some skimpwear shopping for my Daz dollies' xmas in the mean time.
I am of a similar mind to many of the posters here. It is very rare that I like almost everything in a character bundle, and that is almost the case here. I also don't remember the last time we had such a large bundle that was not padded out with 2-3 pose and/or expression packs, so that is a nice change. However I did not get any loyality discounts/banners, so the lowest I can get this bundle is 100, which is a bit steep for me. Although I like the stiff a lot, it is not anything I need right now, so I am happy to wait until it is available at a better discount (although I know that will have to be the smaller bundles, as the mega bundle will vanish).

The best I can get it down to is $76 with banners. It still seems a bit pricey considering that most of the other Mega Bundles I've gotten were around $45.
It was already 3 in the morning for the big bundle. (I still have those 3 in the cart; I can't decide whether to pull the trigger or not. This coupon madness discourages me a lot. If I could use the $10 off, I would go for it, but this way it's a bit of a meh...)

I'm aware of that, but they should be sold separately, not as part of a bundle that doesn't include the required item for them. Not everyone owns or wants to buy the required item separately, ending up with a product they cannot use.
I could have sworn it was 2 this morning, and the discount does kick in with only 2... But I didn't copy and paste the text this morning so I don't have another reference.
There's a post from this morning referring to the offer as "mega bundle and 3+ new items". It might have changed during the day but if so I've missed it.
Yeah, I wasn't getting anywhere for a while, either. I kept getting the front page with the slideshow. I figured it would be straightened out eventually.

Not only were the forums down, but thngs in DIM are now wonky. For example, see if you bought all of Sloshwerks French Quarter series- Grocer's Corner and Seraphim aren't there for me, and if you have the Lit Trees, that one is gone too. Are you seeing them in DIM? About two out of five things I've needed haven't been in DIM. I don't know if it's related to any tweaks they make to the store, but if you do buy anythng, make sure it shows up for you. These are all in my Product Library and were purchased.
Well, so unfortunately the calculation was right, not the description.
So, I have to say I like a lot of the items in the Mega Bundle but the price tag and the promo. Again it's the base prices from all the bundles which might prevent me from purchasing right now and even in the months to come. Similar to Michael 8.1. Did not get those bundles on release nor on later occasions cause even super good discounts won't compensate for something priced too high in the beginning. Sad that the two smaller bundles are rather no option. Scrooge Bundle is tiny (5 items) but costs nearly as much as older Pro Bundles. Ghost of Christmas Bundle does not include the Ebenezer base figure.
And those base prices come with a rather lackluster promo IMO. Some way lower priced products brought $ savings on future releases. This time we get 60$ worth of rather old DAZ orginals (of which I own more than two thirds already). So also nothing to find there justifying the $80 spending - not counting in the new releases to buy for even getting the price down to that amount.
Guess I wait how things develop until end of week but as things are I might do the Ebenezar on this MEGA bundle.

The incentive isn't incentive enough, since its the umpteenth time "X Free DAZ Originals" has come around and I've already picked through them.
My open Sales Ticket from last week hasn't been addressed.
And I don't want to assume that Sales mistakes will be honored after the fact.
I see the $10 off for owning the Under Construction can now be applied to any Daz original, not just the bundles. Thanks, Daz!
So, this new MetaMixer is supposed to be free for DAZ+ members...but it's not. It's in the cart as $4.88!

Are at least two of those items new releases, apart from the mega bundle? That's what triggers the discount.
