  • Okay, the stacking sale....I am on day 6 apparently, so does that mean one more day before I see this discount at all in my cart?  Nothing I put in seems to go down 18%.  So confused...

You are more likely getting 3%, as this is the first day it would apply after the 12th. The graphic is apparently using the last seven days for the calculation.

The Zodiac Sagittarius Bundle is the only one of the series without the Interactive License option. All the products in the bundle have the Interactive License but not the bundle itself.

But I bought  quite a lot every day for the last week, so how come I only get 3% off? Where are these 'eligible purchases' stated, how do I know what qualifies? This is a little nuts, really. Again ...

Here to ask the same question...  Graphic says I should be getting 15% off, but only seeing 3%.

The terms were, basically, starting on June 12th, accumulate 3% per day on qualifying purchases, for the next seven days (okay, six days after the 12th), up to a maximum of 21%. So, a qualifying purchase (not too hard to do with a minimum of $1) yesterday would get you 3% today.

Ah, thanks so much for clarifying! But it's seriously one of the most confusing sales. Why start the stacking period while the buying in period is still running?

And there's still a mistake somewhere, or I still don't get it (very possibly both): If I bought things yesterday and today, and the stacking starts today, but the buying in period started yesterday - shouldn't I be getting 6% off, not just 3%?

From what i understand, the discount only applies to the first purchase you do in a day. So, you've got 3% for the first purchase you did today, and the discout will go to 0 after that. First purchase tomorrow will bring you 6% discount.

My, it's even more complicated than I thought, then. Thanks again very much for explaining! I'm getting too old for this ...

Edit: After checking my purchases of today, it seems that BYOBs and PCFAD items are excluded from the stacking discount - which is not mentioned in the conditions. But I didn't get any discount on them when I bought some of both categories today. Instead,I'm being offered 3% off now for an item from the Friends of the Sale section. So this seems to work indeed, but in a very complicated way.

If the 7 days is only supposed to start yesterday, they need to change how this is presented on the sale page. The way it is written clearly states I should be getting a 21% savings on first purchase today, but I'm getting 3%.

"Get a stacking 3% OFF* for every day of the last 7 days that you made a purchase!" Note that it says "every day of the last 7 days", not "starting today" or "starting June 12".

Then there is a graphic filled up to 21%, and it says, "You're on day 7 of STREAKING!" How can "day 7" be interpreted as "day 1?"

So how is it possible to interpret this as anything but a 21% discount today? If it's just a mistake, so be it, but it's the kind of thing you'd think they'd be extra careful about.

3%*days seems to be not working on not fixed $1.99 price items;  BYOB 8 set; Platinum Club Anniversary 2021 Bundles and the other things stated in the adv (Discount excludes New Releases, Gift Cards, and Memberships.)

Other than that it should work.

  • tsroemitsroemi Posts: 2,870

How are some people on 'day 6' and some on 'day 7' of their 'streaking'???

  • NorthOf45NorthOf45 Posts: 5,539

The code for the graphic is obviously in error.

And I realized my own interpretation of the sale is a little off. The discount applies to the first sale of the day over $1, not that the qualifying sales must be more than a dollar. I wonder if a freebie by itself will count.

D+FAD days *Offer does not stack with other discounts.

The BYOB is settings a stated price, so that too doesn't benefit from additional discounts (such as the DO 30%)

Sent in a note on the presentation of the stacking.

So if the offer doesn't stack with other discounts and only applies to your first purchase...

Do I lose the discount if the first purchase I make for the day supersedes the stacking discount?

I'm not sure whether or not the discount is limited to your first purchase; but I have already made a purchase where the discount did not apply and I still have the discount

    Okay, thanks.

I think I misunderstood the Sales pitch: "*Maximum of one eligible purchase per day of $1 or more."

I assumed this to mean that you only got the stacking purchase once per day. I guess it means you can only add 3% once per day?

I think I need to go back and get my Masters Degree to keep up with this.

Also, "Streaking" implies that you have to make a purchase on each consecutive day or you start back at the beginining.

Is it safe to assume that this is not the case? That the discount will continue even if you skip a day?

My cart said Day 7 before I made my first purchase, after the purchase it's back to Day 1.  So I put an Ironman sale item in the cart to check and the discount is only 3%.  The Promo page still says 7 days / 21% after a refresh.  Confusing.

So, how the discount code works is that it looks at X number of days back to see how many days the total purchases for the day are over a specified minimum value. It excludes the current day in any of it's calculations. So if you skip a day it will still count all of the other days in however many days it was configured to look back.

Right now the sales rule has it only looking back a single day, so the 3% discount is if you made a qualifying purchase yesterday, but tomorrow it should include today's sales along with yesterday so you could get that 6% discount and then go up from there. If you miss a day it will just not count it but your streak won't disappear, you just won't get as good of a discount as you would if you purchased every day.

Is it too much to ask for this information to be posted where the sale is advertised?

I assume the intention is to drum up sales, not just confuse everyone.

Ok, the ad copy has been updated to make a little bit more sense and remove the erroneous graphic.

Now another question...  How long is the "stack up" discount good for? Just the length of the stack up period, plus one day? All of next week? All of next month? Forever?

I'm getting a weird thing happening in the store at the moment. If I try to open the product page for anything I own or anything in my wishlist I get a "blank" page (attached example). A random selection of other product pages which I don't own (or want!) is working just fine.

    Anyone else seeing this?

NB I use the Daz Deals add-on - I tried disabling that but it makes no difference, so I don't think that is the cause.

ETA: I should mention that this is Chrome browser.

And it was pointed out in this thread that the same thing is happening when going to a product page via the search page (irrespective of ownership/wishist)

That was me. The links seemed to work again for a little while when I disabled 'https only',but that was short-lived; same with disabling the Facebook container add-on. So the problem seems to lie elsewhere.

I had the same problem following a link from the forum, and another link from Google. Also Chrome.

The blank page issues is being looked into.
