Anyway to import a figure or a whole snene into After Effects and still be able to view it in real 3D?

I've never used After Effects with OBJ 3d models...you can? Hmm checking that out now.
Ok after some research, I guess you CAN technically output your scene and bring it into AE...but unless your scene is very simple it may not be worth it. You will have to reapply shader/materials and lighting. Also the items will probalby be static unless you can get the FBX version imported instead of the OBJ.
I'm not sure what you want to do, but if it includes animation, I'ld animate in Daz or Blender with transparent background and bring that in as a video layer and add whatever else you need in AE.
Download Cineware and C4D Lite, a free version of Cinema 4D included with (at least certain) versions of AE. Then you can export your DS scene into C4D (not sure if the Daz to C4D bridge works with the Lite version), and you can make changes to the scene within C4D and they'll update in AE.
